Surprised, I turned my head towards Kia, and back to Dad. I had been dreading the day Kia and Dad would meet. Because of Kia's attitude in the past towards me, Dad had some dislike towards him.
“I asked a question, what are you doing here?” Dad asked again.
“Humm Dad, Kia was the one who called Dr Caleb and he also helped with other issues, " I said, trying to save the moment.
“Thank you, but you may leave now,” he said coldly.
Kia, bows his head towards Dad in greeting, turns and starts walking out of the hospital room with Lucien walking behind him.
“Thank you very much Mr Kyle for coming over and helping my daughters, I really appreciate it,” Dad said with a smile.
“That's no problem at all sir, I did everything willingly.”
