A clone?!

“ what.. mom I’m not in Canada I’m still here.” I said starting to get a frustrated.

“ alright then, I’ll send you the picture”

As soon as the picture popped up on my phone I gasped. Wyatt took the phone away from me looking at the picture. I’m in a state of shock. I’m clearly here while this other person that looks like me is there.

“ hmm.. interesting. She does look like you but her freckles are darker and she has more than you. And look she has a mole under her ear” Wyatt mumbled

“ who knows maybe it’s a clone.”

I said when I heard my mother gasped like she came to realization.

“ it’s not.. it’s your twin sister” she whispered.

“ WHAT!!” both Wyatt and I said in unison clearly shocked.

“Your twin, I thought she died.”

Andel and Yolanda ran downstairs at our outburst wanting to know what happened.

It’s three days since my talk with my mom and the four of us are on our way back home. We don’t know how long we’re staying but Wyatt’s mom had arranged for Andel and Yolanda to stay at a nearby pack instead of bringing them with us. She said that the pack is her former pack and they’ll be safe there.

Arriving at my moms place I hugged her tightly.

“ I missed you mom.”

“ I missed you too, My baby.”I sniffed. Breaking the hug and wiping my tears.

“ you said she threatened you.”

She nods.

“ yes. She said that she going to put me through the misery that I put her through because I abandoned her, I...”

“Did you?..did you abandoned her.” I asked hoping the answer would be what I hoped.

“ no, goddess no, Lenora. You have to believe me” she cried. I sighed with relief

“ I was told I was conceived with twin when I went for check up at a clinic elsewhere because I felt like my stomach was growing big too fast and the current doctor didn’t say.

When I asked her about it she said she had so much on her mind that she forgot to tell me. As my pregnancy got further she kept telling me I might need a c-section because one of you are at risk but there’s a possibility they would be able to save both.

I decided to pray and have faith in the goddess, but at birth i had to have an emergency c-section and when I woke up it was only you. when I asked where the other baby was they said I had vanishing twin syndrome. Your father and I were both hurt, but not so much as we were already told what to expect.

I should’ve asked to see her, to confirm but aI didn’t know if I could’ve handle seeing my lifeless baby ” She cried. She’s now on her knees pleading with me.

“ please Lenora you have to believe me ..”

“ it’s okay mom, get up.” I held her hand pulling her up with Wyatt’s help.

“ so you said she wants you to be in misery like she had to.” Wyatt asked.

She nodded. “yes, she also said she’s going to t*****e me like they did her”

“ she will do no such thing don’t worry mom.” I muttered, hugging her.

Yolanda POV

Our parents dropped us off at this house that they call a pack house. I heard about how they live and all that and now that I see for myself, it’s not too bad. they gave Andel and I our own rooms on the second floor in the pack house. This place is so big that they even have an elevator. five stories up and it look like twelve to thirteen vehicles can be fitted out front, big vehicles at that, that’s the width of the building. the person who’s leading us to our room now name is Gael, he looks to be our age but who knows, he might be younger or older.

“ you can choose whichever room you want they’re just across from each other.” He said before looking at me then smiled.

I shoot him back a smile. “ thanks Gael” “ no problem, Yolanda.” He nods and said before walking off. Looking at his retreating back I heard my brother said.

“ ewe, what was that all about.”

Andel scrunched his face in disgust.

“ nothing, mind your own business.”

I said still looking at the directions Gael just walked off to.

“ well don’t flirt while I’m around.”

He turned to go into his room.

“ shush” I muttered before going to my room.

I stayed in the room the rest of the evening until it was time for dinner. After dinner I was going back to my room when the Luna stopped me.

“ how do you like it here.”

“ well..I’ve been here less than a day, maybe ask me in couple of days.” She laughs and I laughed awkwardly.

“ I mean the pack house, how are you settling in. Don’t be afraid to let me know of any bad encounter with anyone, I was told to take good care of you.” She looks at me intently.

I nodded and smiled.

“ oh, it’s not too bad, and I definitely will.”

“Alright then. We’re having a community soccer game tomorrow, teens around your age from three different packs are going to be there, would you and your brother like to come along. Don’t worry they’re from allied packs.”

“ umm.. I can’t speak for my brother but can I think about it?.”

“ sure, sure. If you decide at last minute I’ll have my beta come to get you” she smiled.

“ what about Gael?.” I asked a little shy and the way she looked at me made me start to blush. She chuckled before saying

“ Gael would be playing.” She puts a hand on my shoulder.

“Oh, okay. I’ll see you there then.” Before rushing off to the elevator.

I can hear her quiet laugh while I wait for the elevator. My face flushed when I heard her walking towards me just then the door open. To my surprise she came in as I was pressing the button to the floor I was staying.

“ a little tip” she said softly

“ he doesn’t like girls that shows too much interest but at the same time shows interest, if that makes sense.” I felt my ear began heating up and I felt like face palming myself. I nodded not daring to make eye contact.

When the door open to my floor I damn near ran out. “ thank you, bye.”

The day of the game I went there with the Luna and her gamma. She told me about her experience of being a Luna and how she met her mate.

“ Yolanda I don’t want to scare you away, but don’t get too deep with Gael. You both have a special someone out there that are fated to you.” I nodded understanding where she’s coming from. she doesn’t want either of us to get hurt.

“Is it weird that I like him. I mean i literally got here yesterday.” I asked feeling a lump in my throat. I don’t know why but I feel drawn to him.

“ oh no, honey no. Have you ever heard of love at first sight.” She frowned before giving me her full attention with a grin.

“Yea that only work until the love wears off.” Her gamma laughed.

“ Matt..” she scoffed

“ well it’s true in some cases.” He laughed as she slapped him on his shoulder.

“ tell the girl the truth.” He laughs again before saying

“ look, there’s no better experience than life itself, just go with whatever flow. You’ll have a few bad experiences but take them as a life lesson.” He tapped me on my shoulder and I nodded. We watched the game in silence and cheered whenever the pack team scored.

After the game I was on my phone for a bit when I heard Matt cleared his throat. “ looks like your brother is bringing your Prince Charming.” My face went pale and he took the opportunity to laugh at me.

“ hey, I didn’t know you came.” Gael said smiling while looking at me, he’s all sweaty from playing. His thick black curly hair hanging down in his face, his brown eyes pinned on me.

I couldn’t answer until I felt Matt elbowing my side, pulling me from my trance. I blush from being caught staring at Gael.

“ oh, I..yea.. uhh Luna invited me.”

I stammered, pushing a lock of hair from my face that wasn’t even there and then I suddenly don’t know what to do with my hands. I feel so stupid, what is wrong with me. I couldn’t help but notice the sly smile my brother is giving me.

“ oh, would you like to walk home with us.”

“ no, I came with the Luna and Matt. I’m going back with them.” I Answered shyly.

“ alright, see you there then.” He grinned and left with my brother who is also grinning. I couldn’t help but glare at him.
