Chapter 2

I drove out of the driveway through the gates of the pack house. Connecting my phone to the Bluetooth to play some music while driving. Deciding I’m not going to take the main road out the pack territory.

I took a right turn that is leading to the outskirt, more like the country side if you ask me. My mother always told me you will find some of the most valuable stuff in the least expected place. I hope and pray to the moon goddess that I find my mate, I don’t care who or what she is I will love and protect her with my life.

Reaching almost to the outskirts of the pack I picked up a faint smell of coconuts and honey, my wolf Rex started pacing in excitement. I stopped the vehicle to see if I can smell what I was really smelling or what I thought I was smelling but I didn’t. I got out of the vehicle, walked little bit back and smelled again but I didn’t smell it, it’s so strange. am I crazy or something.

After standing there walking around for a while I went back to my vehicle put the car in gear and drove off again as I was nearing the outskirts,the scent became stronger and I know for sure that I wasn’t thinking of it or hallucinating.

All of a sudden the scent was whipped from my nose, immediately I stopped.I got out of the car, looking to my left side I saw a house almost like twenty feet away.

as I was nearing the house taking slow steps the scent got stronger in my nostrils and then I saw a beautiful young lady coming out the door of the house.

My wolf was already trying to push forward to take control but I can’t let him, she looks to be my age but who knows she might be younger so I had to control him.

She came gave a little wave to me awkwardly and said “hi” I was so lost in her beauty I couldn’t even register that she even said hi to me or I was just thinking that she said hi to me. Her eyes, she has green monolid eyes, little button nose, Cupid bow lips, red curly waist length hair..wait, she’s a redhead. She has a body of a model. She’s enchantingly beautiful. I can already see she’ll have me doing stuff I’m not used to.

‘Mate, mate, mate’ Rex barked jumping excitedly in my head.

‘Wyatt what are you waiting for..take her, take our mate’

‘I can’t, Rex. We don’t even know if she’s of age yet.’

‘ well, ask her already, you’re wasting time here’ he huffed in my head getting irritated

‘Stop behaving thirsty,Rex. We can’t just come here and just ask for her age out of no where.’ Shaking my head I came back to my senses when I heard her called.

“ uhm, hello..do you need some help or something?” she questions, raising an eyebrow at me. At this point I’m thinking she doesn’t know I’m her mate. “Uhm.. yes. Do you live here?.”

“May I ask Why do you ask?

I chuckled at her answering my question with a question. “ because I want to know, if you don’t mind” she moved her gaze away from me as if she was unsure ,looking back at the door. I took a couple more steps toward her.

It was hard to keep my wolf in check because I wanted nothing more than to hold my mate in my arms, getting lost in her sweet scent and never leave here. When she turned back around, she gasped, seeing me so close.

“ y..yes. I live here here” I nodded

“ with my parents of course”

“Okay, so where are they. Can I come in?” I asked the last question half begging with pleading eyes. She looks at me with an expressionless face her eyes boring into mine almost forcing me to bare my neck “ why are you here?, what did we do for you to pay us this visit”

I bowed my head instantly, her voice is so cold. Damn. It’s like she’s commanding me to answer her questions. What really shocked me was my immediate response.

“I was on my way to look for my mate when a scent suddenly stopped me. Your scent.”

With my head still bowed a few seconds not knowing if she was going to let me in.

“ come”

was all she said I raised my head to look at her again but she already turned her back to walk inside. I followed her from behind slowly, admiring her.

How was she able to make me bare my neck to her, and.. command me to answer her. It was strange, but it only means she has some kind of royal or higher rank blood.

Come to think of it, I can’t feel her aura and Why were they even living out here and not closer to the pack house. I’ve never heard or saw these people until today.

Lenora POV

I almost gave myself away when he silently came up behind me. The cloak to hide my aura almost dropped, my mom wasn’t here to do it, so I had no choice but to try to do it myself.

Seeing him so close, he’s so handsome I Fought the urge to drool all over him,

It was soo hard not jumping into his arms. My mate. I found my mate, one day after my eighteenth birthday. I’m so giddy right now but I must compose myself. I told my self being cold to him was my only way to not get affected by his charming nature.

I thought to myself It was working, until I see him bared his neck in submission, and then the next words that left his lips softened me. I couldn’t continue to be cold to my mate.

Letting him in and usher him to take a seat on the sofa i ask politely. “ would you like something to drink” I asked him walking to the kitchen.

“Yes please , what do you have?”

“I just finished making some pina colada or would you like some freshly squeezed orange juice” turning to look at him he seemed zoned out for a bit.

He was checking me out and I couldn’t stop my cheeks from heating up. When he realized I was looking at him he quickly looked away and smirked then looked back at me again.

“Anything baby” My eyes popped at his boldness. I quickly turned to get him some pina colada before my face burned from all my blushing.

“Here” I gave him the drink. “Thank you” he smiled, barely brushing his index finger on mine before taking the drink drinking most of it before setting it down,while I went to sit across from him.

“ did you put alcohol in it” he asked smiling

I laughed “yea, why do you ask, can’t you taste it” he gave a mischievous grin. He’s such a charmer.

“ no, do you have something else I can taste” he stared at me intently not moving his gaze. ‘Yes. me’ I told myself. My core clenched, my body run hot like a heat wave was passing, eager to feel his touch again, I could now feel the moisture down there.

His body went stiff as he sniffed the air and closed his eyes. Inhaling deeply again upon exhaling he opened his eyes that were now completely black. From the look of it he’s fighting to keep control but I don’t want him to.

I got up and walked over to him nipping at my bottom lip and playing with my fingers. Looking into his eyes giving him the permission that I know he wouldn’t ask for because we just met. He stood up, keeping our eyes locked his hands gently slid around my waist.

he’s so tall that my face is inline with his chest.I could hear my own heartbeat. It was beating ten times more than usual.

I closed my eyes as he nuzzles my neck inhaling my scent and pulling me closer.

“ you smell so good, I can’t wait to taste you” he licked where my neck met my shoulder. I let out a heavy breath. A shiver ran down my spine followed by goosebumps on my hands. He slowly kissed his way to my lips and I reciprocated. We were both in sync as we got lost in the pleasure, he moved his hands over my bvtt, give a light squeeze then down to the back of my thighs and lifted me, my legs wrapped around him on their own accord. I was so gone for him.
