"Luna…" Andrew no Abigor called, taking me out of my thoughts and putting his hand on my shoulder.
I flinched, startled by his sudden touch. "I warned you," he said with a serious expression, "that you wanted to know the truth."
I shook my head, feeling a sense of unease creeping over me. I act strongly on the outside, but deep down, I was terrified about his identity as an underworld king pinning me down in a dangerous world I never knew existed.
"Don't lie to me, Luna." Andrew's voice was stern, almost threatening. "The truth will set you free, but it will also put you in grave danger."
"What do you mean?" I gulped on my dry throat, my heart racing with fear.
Andrew's eyes bore into mine, his gaze unwavering. "The truth that you accept me is that I am not who I say I want you
