With a quick nod towards his stepmother, Ethan turned to leave as well. With a movement faster than she had expected, Amelia grabbed for him. The bond between them forcing him to a stop to prevent her from falling and hurting herself. “Amelia, let me go!”
“Wait! Before you go, Ethan, there’s something wrong!” Her unexpected words made even her mum flinch and turn towards her in confusion.
