Tessa's leadership helped to inspire the rebirth of moon city.

Soon, the reconstruction began to progress.

However gossips and snide remarks didn't stop.

At that point, it was safe to say that Mario's disciples were hidden and waiting for the most perfect opportunity to strike.

Suddenly, Damon's infuriated growl shook the entire area.

"It's time to spot them out. It's time!"

Without hesitation, Jordan nodded in agreement.

"I concur with you."

Instead, Tessa shook her head in objection.

"We need to be wise and extremely cautious."

Suddenly, Aria appeared again.

"I've been able to make my findings," Aria announced with an evil voice.

"Meet me immediately it's past midnight."

For the first time ever, Tessa felt uncomfortable about Aria.

Her instincts had never lied to her.

Well, she had so much trust in Aria, so she waved off the weird thoughts.

Even though it was hard, she had to trust Aria, so that she'd be able to get more information.

Immediately it was past midnight, Tessa immediately crept into the darkness of the night.

Even though it was dark, she spotted the figure that bounced out.

However, it wasn't Aria.

It was Mario.

"I knew you'd fall for it," Mario mocked her.

Damn!

It was a trap.

The look of victory in Mario's eyes, could easily be noticed.

Like a replay, her instincts began to warn her again.

Without thinking twice, Tessa gyrated. She was ready to run for her life.

However before she could turn, Mario's disciples surrounded her.

To make matters worst, Damon and Jordan were not there to help her.

This betrayal from Aria, was really painful.

"Why did you do this to me?" Tessa asked her with a broken voice.

However, Aria suddenly appeared from where she stood, and coldly gazed into Tessa's eyes.

"I unapologetically did what I did to protect the true heir of Moon City," Aria replied back at her with a cold voice.

Immediately, Mario's voice changed suddenly, as he spoke to Tessa.

"Tessa, you cannot be the true leader of this city. No, you can't! Never!"

At that moment, Tessa felt weak, like her whole world was collapsing.

"And what is that supposed to mean?"

The response she got was Mario's evil voice, echoing through the entire atmosphere in wicked laughter.

"My dear Tessa, you do not belong to the ancestral bloodline, you fugitive."

Immediately, Tessa's heart skipped for a second.

"If not me, then who?"

Aria immediately looked into Mario's eyes.

"Him!"

Tessa's eyes widened in shock.

"No... No... That can't be possible..."

In happiness, Mario's eyes glittered with a victorious smile.

"As the true heir of this city, it's my time to claim it. With Aria on my side, I'd be able to conquer this city and have full control of it."

Immediately Tessa heard that, her determination immediately intensified.

"Over my dead body will it come to pass! Not today or anytime else. Never!"

With a fierce cry and a loud growl, Tessa immediately transformed into her werewolf form.

The battle of supremacy had begun!

As the battle intensified, Tessa clashed with the disciples of Mario.

Even though Tessa was trying hard, it was hard to win them because Aria's evil power was intensifying their strength.

Suddenly, Damon and Jordan appeared out of nowhere.

"Tessa, we're suddenly behind you!" Damon yelled at her.

However, Aria's betrayal had changed her mindset about everyone.

Would she ever be able to trust anyone again?

Soon, Tessa's werewolf powers came into full play.

She began to fight with so much dexterity and skill.

In panic, Mario stumbled back.

Aria also shivered in shock.

"Tessa, you have to stop. If you continue, you'd destroy this whole city that you rebuilt!"

Tessa growled with so much venom

"You liar, you destroyed the whole city, and you also tried to destroy me..."

Immediately, Mario regained his composure.

"With the help of Aria, I'd destroy you, and take over this city!"

Immediately, Tessa turned to Mario with fury in her eyes.

"It'll only happen after my death!"

Immediately, the battle continued in earnest.

Out of nowhere, Silvia appeared.

"Aria, desist! You're wrong!"

Immediately, Aria's expression changed.

Silvia's words made sense to her.

"Mario can never be the heir. He's just a slave."

Tessa looked at Aria in shock

"What is happening?"

Silvia looked deeply into Aria's eyes.

"The ancestral powers and magic you possess, are being manipulated."

Aria jolted in shock.

"No! That can't be true..."

"Who is trying to manipulate me?" she asked with a raised tone.

However, Silvia's voice remained firm.

"Echo, the ancestral sorceress."

Tessa's heart skipped immediately.

"The convener of that ancestral curse?"

Silvia nodded in agreement.

"Echo has been guilding Mario, while manipulating and using Aria's magic."

Aria's eyes rolled in anger and rage.

"No! I won't ever be controlled by anyone. No!"

Immediately, Tessa's determination intensified.

"This drama has to come to an end, now!"

In togetherness, the group charged at Mario.

Mario's disciples began to fall down one after the other, till the last one was grounded.

Sensing what was amiss, Mario ran for his life.

Aria's heavily breathed in determination.

"I'll be the end of Echo. I'll stop her!"

Tooth, Tessa, Damon, Jordan, and Silvia followed Aria to war.

The went into Echo's lair, which was located in the middle of a cave.

From what they could see, Ancestral drawings and magical paintings surrounded them.

Immediately, Echo's voice could be heard, as it echoed throughout the cave.

"Welcome, clowns."

Immediately, Aria's magic suddenly began to heat up.

"No! I won't be used. You can't manipulate me, again!"

Echo suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

"Unfortunately for you Aria, my dear, it's too late."

Everyone got even more confused, as Echo revealed another secret.

"Tessa is the one who would unlock the shackles that holds moon city because she holds the ancestral key."

Tessa's heart skipped for a slight second.

"What does that even mean?"

Echo smiled mischievously.

"Tessa isn't just an ordinary werewolf."

Echo's exposition changed the atmosphere in the entire cave.

"Tessa, you're the only remaining, and last heir of the lupine bloodline and dynasty."

As she spoke, Tessa's confusion continued to intensify.

"What does that even mean?"

Echo smiled evilly.

"You hold the key to unlock our kinds true potential."
