Heart beat

Bianca and Mia were talking when a nurse call out for them “MISS”. they both looked at her. She came close and handed them a report. While checking the drip she said “it’s a girl.”

Bianca was very happy and her smile widened “yay! A baby girl like her aunt.”

“Aye she would be like me.” Said Mia in childish way. Bianca said “cut the crap she is mine,” she stick out her toungue and teased Mia. Mia was furious and they both began to fight. They seemed very happy. It was light in Mia’s life after a long time. Like water in dessert. Moon in the dark. Stars were celebrating the moment. The happy days were like they are back. They were fighting like the old days again. Mia was as happy as she was ever before. Nothing was letting her down at that time. Like she just know that how to laugh and that was what she was doing.

They continue their fight when the doctor came in. He said, “who is the father?” Right happiness couldn’t stay longer. Mia face started turning pale. Bianca get up and asked “what’s wrong doctor?”

“Ohh nothing is wrong, I thought the couple might be interested to listen the heart beat,” Said the doctor. “The sounds are always pleasant to ears and every mother envy it.”

“I want to hear the voice.” Said Mia in between loudly and excited. “Fine.” Said the doctor.

Mia heard the voice of the heartbeat of her little daughter. She smiled a little.

MIA’S POV

I never thought that how much just a little heartbeat can make me happy. Seems like I am becoming a mother. I can’t resist the beautiful sound. Each time it beats I seems to be more and ore happy. I will protect her no matter what. I will believe her no matter what. I won’t let her down other MI’s will not grow in my tummy. She will the power the pride and, I will make her that.

Mia was lost in the voice when Bianca snatched the thing from Mia’s ear and she put it on her ears..........” Hey ! I am Bianca you aunt.” “Are you ok there.” Bianca ask some foolish questions. She then turned towards the doctor asking “can this sound be recorded.”

Yeah off course if you want, the doctor replied.
