Gale and Lauressa managed to catch up with Cain. Gale grabbed his shoulder and told him to stop running. He panicked; he didn’t want to stop running because he needed to save Nik. Gale gripped his shoulder harder and gave him a knowing nod.
“Lauressa, can you link Freida to see if she has any medicines in the guest suite? If not, we’re going to need to get to the hospital.” Gale said in a shaky voice. Lauressa nodded quickly while Cain anxiously waited, holding Nik’s weak body close.
“Yes, I do. Get him here and we can assess from there”. Freida replied through the link.
