"Tell me about your family then " Gale mused, twisting the wine glass in his hand. Lauressa nodded her head, lifting it up from his shoulder so she could drink while she spoke.
"Mother and father were wonderful. I have a few younger siblings, one who will become an unranked member next year. We weren't a very rich family, by any means, but we got by." She said, taking a sip from her glass. "I do miss them sometimes, but the pack laws do their best to make us self sufficient." She laughed. Gale nodded, a solemn expression covered his face.
"I suppose they do." He said quietly. Lauressa looked at him, her mind processing his emotions, until she realised.
