Gale stood watching his brother crying next to his mate, his heart breaking for Nik. He walked around the bed and picked up his brother, resting him on the mattress next to Cain and moving Cain slightly over. His movements made Cain breath deeply and cough, but he didn't stir. Nik laid his head on the pillow, resting his hand on Cain's shoulders and watching him breath. Gale then returned to Felix's side at the bottom of the bed.
Felix picked up the notes and read through them briefly before glancing up from the paper to Cain. He folded the pages back down and hung the notes back on the bed.
"He lost quite a bit of blood, but it seems having a strong mate helped save him." Felix explained. Nik mumbled but didn't move his eyes off Cain.
