Gale lifted Lauressa into his arms and climbed on top of Nik's wolf. He clenched his thighs together and gripped Nik's fur with one hand while he held on tightly to Lauressa with the other.
"Take us home, Nik." He instructed. Nik nodded and slowly paced his way down the road. Cain and Felix were both at his side, helping to keep Gale balanced on Nik's back.
"What happened, Laurie?" He asked Lauressa as they plodded along the path.
She relayed all of the details, from how she was taken to the proposition that Reginald had made. Gale listened silently, only letting out a growl when she described how he kissed her.
"What a creep." Nik linked to them all. The two other wolves nodded in agreement.
