The next morning I am supposed to be at a meeting with Luna, Alpha Orion, and Jack to discuss this whole “mate” bomb Orion threw yesterday. I am extremely nervous. I could not sleep a wink at all, I peek awkwardly inside the meeting room hoping to see no one when I feel a breath next to me. I jump. “Now what are you doing little mouse?” Orion looks directly at me with a smirk. My cheeks get a little red taint. “Just checking if anyone was already inside..” I look anywhere but him. He gently takes my chin to lift up my face, “No need to hide your beautiful face from me mate '' We look at each other's eyes. Oh god how can I refuse such a gorgeous man, did the moon goddess really bless me like this or is this a scheme to undermine my whole pack?

“Alpha Orion, shall we begin’” Luna asked him while looking at his hand that's on my cheek with a blank expression, why does she always arrive at the worst moment.

When we get inside the grand conference room, the rectangular table I follow Luna, I sit in front of Jack and Orion, with Luna by my side.

Orion begins: “Luna, If I may start, I shall be quick but direct” Luna nodded at this.

“I have been looking for my Luna for many years now and even though my pack pressured me to get a chosen mate, I believe in the Moon Goddess wisdom to bestow me my perfect partner and I chose to wait against all odds. I am civilized and I want my pack to be part of a peaceful treatment with every other pack on the nation and to put the past behind us to start a new peaceful era, that's why for my goals and my mate’s happiness I am here trying to get to an agreement with you, but saying my good intentions I have also to add I am an alpha and I will have some demands concerning my mate. I can barely keep my wolf in control when it comes to her, I'm sure you can understand me” Orion talked with authority, and I am starstruck, the way he expresses with an authoritative tone but a kind tone at the same time is amazing.

It takes Luna a minute to answer him. “Alpha Orion and what will be your demands?”

At that he wink at me before naming them. “I need to have access to her at all times, that means my room should be next to hers, and she gets to come to all the tours and meetings you have programmed for us here, including the visits to other packs.”

At this Luna gasps and responds immediately. “I am not sure that's reasonable” I am shocked, he basically wants to let every other pack know I’m his. “I am not done Luna, my final demand will be that no one touches, not even so much as a finger on her, my wolf is agitated enough since I haven't marked her any smell different from mine coming from her could put him on freenezy” He said this looking directly at Jack.

Jack just smirks “You can't waltz in here and order around, I have a claim to her too and I have as much right to be near her at all times as you, even more as we actually know each other.” He sent a satisfied smile at the end that wasn´t ignored, Orion frowned at the last part a little. But before Orion could reply, Jack continued:

“I want Alessa as my Luna, even if we are not destined mates. And if you leave to other packs on business I shall attend as well, and be by her side as much as you” Jack's words shocked everyone in the room, even Luna looked at his son as if he had gone mad.

“Jack you are going overboard” Luna whispers but we all hear.

“I heard enough from both of you, Jack you know I have a special place for you in my heart but I want my destined mate or at the least get to know him before I make a decision” I could feel Orion about to kill Jack, he was almost shifting so I took his hand to calm him down, I turned to him and try to give him my softest voice. “Alpha Orion I can only imagine how hard this must be for you, to meet your mate and have no one believe you or question your intentions. I appreciate you being patient with us. I want to take things slow and get to know each other, so when my birthday comes I hope to have an answer for you both. I will ask you both to please be patient with me. Orion I will be spending with you as much as I can but I will also spend time with Jack.” I took a deep breath “Also I won't go to other packs or such. I’m sorry Orion but it is such a delicate situation we are in, besides I don't want it to overshadow your meetings when your initial plan to visit is to reestablish alliances.”

Luna looked satisfied with my answer as well as everyone else.

“I believe this is an agreeable understanding, and I would also like to add that you can´t mate with her until a decision is made, we werewolfs can imprint on our partners is feelings are running high so if both of you imprint on her your wolfs won´t let you give her up and this might end bad for everyone involved.” Luna said, looking at everyone and stopping on me. I blushed almost immediately. Okey so no s*x with either of them, this doesn’t seem imposible. Before we left we agreed that tomorrow I would spend the day with Orion.

I practically ran to the kitchen remembering I hadn't had any food yet. As I enter the kitchen I´m greeted by Lina. “Hey, is any food for supper ready? I'm starving.” She looks seriously to me “yes, some sandwiches are already done on that table” I began digging like no tomorrow. She stays silent but steals glances at me, she probably has something on her mind and she’s debating whether to tell me, I smile reassuringly to push her to tell me.

“So I heard Alpha Orion announce you as his luna, are you leaving the pack?” She asked with a smirk on, wow she is quite bold to ask directly about my private business, I know rumorms were bound to happen but this soon? Does she want me gone or is she going to miss me? Probably the first one she always had a crush on was Jack.

“Jack laid his claim on me too, he wants me as his chosen Luna even if we aren't destined mates, so nothing is set in stone until my birthday” I get I was being a little mean toward her by mentioning this, but she got on my nerves by being too nosy.

Before I could realize what was happening, I felt claws at my sides and blood pouring out of me as I lost consciousness.
