Chapter Three

1013 Words
I finally got my aunt to bed. She had passed out going off on me, and honestly, she saved my ass there. I was about to cash out my V-card to the only asshole who didn't deserve it. Also, what was he going on about secrets? I never kept anything from him. He knew my life inside out, and I thought the same until sixth grade when I realized he was not only super rich but came from a very well-known family of old money. Yet another reason why our friendship quickly went to a fizz. This town was just too much for me. I needed out, and I've been doing a great job keeping my nose down and getting through it, but I don't know about this. Ty has no business saying anything. He'll jeopardize his relationship, and two years is a lot for him to throw away. My head started hurting. I wouldn't say I like drama; I do, but not when it's me trying to figure things out; I enjoy everyone else's drama. I got up early to get ready for school. I didn't see my aunt's ride; she didn't remember what happened yesterday. If she had, she'd be in here talking s**t. I wore tight jeans a black crop, slipped my black cinch jacket over, and slipped my boots on. A little mascara and eyeliner and a splash of gloss on my lips are all I do. I like how I look. I take pride in face moisturizers to ensure my skin is healthy. I wish I knew more about how to do my makeup, but I don't, and I'm too much of a b***h to make a friend like a girlfriend. Girls in this town aren't trustworthy. They all have groups and spend most of the time gossiping about everyone else. I guess I don't blame them. If I had a typical family, I'd probably be one of these small-town girls, but instead, I try not to be the center of attention; it's not a good look being the niece of the town's w***e. I walked to school and had a weird feeling that people were looking at me for some reason. I don't usually feel this way, but today feels off. I sat down and had some breakfast and quickly gravitated to my favorite tree, where I sat to read Zodiac Academy, one of my all-time favorite series. " Hey, you think I can come over to your place today if you can squeeze me in" some dumbass yelled out, making my stomach drop and causing my heart to flutter, and not in a good way. What the f**k did Tyler say. I got up, put my book up, and quickly started walking towards my locker, trying not to panic; It's just some i***t talking s**t. There's no way this has to do with what happened yesterday, right? f**k! Who am I kidding that dickwad told his dumbass friends about it! I made it to my locker and took a deep breath. I looked Into the little magnetic mirror I had in there and made sure I looked cool, calm, and composed. Come on, Donna, this isn't your first rodeo. You can keep it together. I pepped myself up and felt good. I closed my locker and slipped my lock when I felt someone wrap their arms around me. I recognized the letterman jacket. "Ty, let go of me." he spun me around and pushed me against the locker. "You didn't want me to let go yesterday." "Well, that was a mistake, one that isn't going to be happening again, so let me go before your little girlfriend sees you." "Ha, I'm not with Miranda anymore. Thought you put that together after seeing Bianca give me head in the bathroom,' he said, making his little posy laugh behind him. " I don't know what you're playing at, Ty, but I'm not game. Leave me alone.'' I shoved him off of me and made my way to class. Luckily, the bell rang moments later. Finally, it was lunchtime, and I'd be making it a long lunch with a free class afterward. I was heading to the corner cafe when Ty pulled up in his black dully truck. "Get in," he said. I scoffed, " NO." he put his truck in park and got off, holding up the entire school line, " Fine, I'll walk with you." "Are you kidding? You holding up traffic?" I said as trucks and cars began to try and circle him and honk their horns. "Well then, get in" I looked away, not knowing what this day would bring " f**k it, you win, Hurry up" I quickly walked to the passenger door and climbed in. "You are such a d**k, Ty, what do you want," I said as I buckled my seat belt. He laughed, "You're cute." "Umm, I've seen you drive, sir, so yeah, this is for my safety," I said, not joking, yet he wouldn't wipe that grin off his face. " Can you tell me what's this all about? We haven't talked in five years, and now, well, I don't know where to begin." he didn't answer me. He just kept on driving. "Can you at least tell me where we are going?" He still didn't answer me, so I sat quietly as we drove towards the outskirts of town. I remember hearing he lived out here somewhere, and I began feeling a little nervous. Is he taking me to his house? For what? We drove up to a gate that required a code to enter. He entered the code and followed a trail traced by beautiful tall trees. The house we parked in front of was a mansion with double doors, and the landscape was carved out of a fairy tale movie. "Wow. Your home is beautiful," I said in complete awe. He parked and got off. "Come on" " what are we doing here?" He flashed me a smile. "We're going to finish where we left off yesterday?"..
