Tessa hopped into a cab, giving the driver the address of the old park. As they drove through the quiet streets, she texted Kia: "Park. Now." The cab pulled up at the park's entrance. Tessa paid and stepped out, spotting Kia lurking by the trees. Kia grinned, eyes sparkling. "Eggs, huh?" Tessa nodded, handing Kia a mask. "Wear this. There are cameras around Miller's house. Don't want you implicated." Kia raised an eyebrow but slipped on the mask. You aren't covering up? Tessa smirked.I want to be caught Kia chuckled. Rebellion, eh? Tessa nodded. Let's do this. They hailed another cab, giving the driver Principal Miller's address. As they rode, Tessa pulled out a few eggs from her backpack, handing some to Kia. The cab dropped them a block away. With eggs in hand, they crept towards Miller's house, laughing softly. "You ready?" Tessa whispered. Kia nodded, mask in place. Tessa took a deep breath – and chucked an egg at the front door. Splatch. The game was on. Eggs flew through the air, splattering against Principal Miller's house. Tessa and Kia laughed, the thrill of rebellion fueling their actions. They dodged around the streetlights, targeting windows and the front lawn. Kia let out a whoop as an egg smashed on the porch. Gotcha, Miller! Tessa grinned, tossing another egg. You crazy, Kia! They kept egging, laughing wildly, until they ran out. Breathing hard, they slipped back into the shadows. Kia pulled off her mask. That was insane! Tessa smiled, eyes sparkling. Not done yet. Police sirens echoed in the distance. Kia's eyes widened. Time to go! Tessa nodded. "You go. I'll handle this." Kia nodded and took off. Tessa walked towards the approaching police car, hands up. Her eyes landed on a nearby police van. In a split second, she grabbed a stray brick and smashed it into the van's window. The sound of shattering glass was like music to her. The officers rushed towards her, shouting. Tessa laughed, feeling a rush of adrenaline. This was it. One officer grabbed her arm. You, stop! What're you doing? Tessa turned, eyes wild. "You can't catch me Tessa took off, her sneakers pounding the pavement as she weaved through the dark streets. She heard the officers shouting behind her, but she didn't look back. She darted into a narrow alley, heart racing. But the officers were faster. They cornered her against a wall. Got you, one said, breathing hard. Tessa smirked, still defiant. They cuffed her and led her back to the van. Principal Miller stood outside, arms crossed, a mix of anger and amusement on his face. Tessa, he said, shaking his head. "I didn't expect this from you." The officers pushed her into the van. Tessa leaned back, a grin still playing on her lips
