Chapter 1

Miley- Luna Ray, I need you to come and put away this paint stuff. You never listen when I ask you to do something Luna.

Luna- I’m sorry, I’ll put it away now. Why are you so moody today?

Miley- Luna don’t talk to me that way, get this stuff cleaned up and go to your room until dinner. I am making vegan burgers and a fruit salad.

Luna-when is daddy coming home?

Miley- Luna, you know he isn’t coming home. *sighs* we have talked about this Lun.

Liam- *walks into the house* daddy’s home.

Miley-Luna go to your room. Now! *looks at Liam* what are you doing here? I thought you were staying at your house?

Liam-I was, but I think, we should we should be in the same house. Mi, I’ll stay in the pool house if you want me too, but the kids are already having a hard time with the media on their backs about us.

Miley- the whole reason of the separation was to be apart from each other Liam, so we wouldn’t fight.

Liam- Yeah, but we’ve been talking 5 minutes and haven’t fought.

Miley- Liam, *sighs* we agreed to be apart for a while.

Liam- I know we did Mi but it’s been 2 weeks and being apart just, so we don’t fight won’t help our relationship, our marriage.

Miley-and how do you know that Li? We are going to therapy, we are trying here but we need to be separated for it to work. Living in two different places. You already have a house, down the road from here.

Liam-how is being separated going to help us or our three children Mi?

Miley-I-I don’t know……I just think we need the separation. We argue, then we make up, then we argue again. It’s a constant back and forth Li.

Liam-but couples argue Mi, we have been married 10 years. Why are we going to throw this away?

Miley-I have to make dinner Liam, you should probably go home to your own house.

Liam- I don’t even know why we got separated in the first place Miley.

Miley- really? You want to go there? You cheated Liam, you cheated on me, and because I don’t believe in divorce, because we don’t believe in divorce, we decided on the separation.

Liam- I told you I didn’t cheat Miley and that’s the truth. You got it into your head that I did, but I didn’t Miley.

Miley- I really need to make dinner. It’s time to go home Liam.

Liam looks at Miley and walks out of the house

Miley sits at the counter with her head between her hands and cries

Caiden walks into the kitchen

Miley- hi baby! *wipes her eyes quickly* everything okay Caid?

Caiden-why isn’t daddy living here mommy? I heard him, but you made leave. He looked sad out the window mommy.

Miley-oh baby! *pulls him up on her lap* listen to me Caid, mommy and daddy were just talking, and you already know daddy isn’t living here right now. Remember, daddy and I brought you and your sisters out for dinner and we talked to you about it. I know it’s hard to understand, but mommy and daddy will fix things and will be back together.

Caiden-*looks at Miley* okay mommy!! What’s for dinner?

Miley- vegan burgers and fruit salad, but I can make you those vegan chicken tenders you really like.

Caiden-I like the tenders more than the burgers. Thank you, mommy!

2 hours later after dinner is finished Miley puts the kids to bed then walks downstairs, someone knocks on the door

Miley- Liam what are you doing here?

Liam- *walks to her and kisses her passionately*

Miley-*pulls away* what are you do---

Liam cuts her off by kissing her again

Liam- kissing you because I miss you so much Mi and I just want to be with you tonight.

Miley- Li…..the kids…..they’ll think we’re back together, they come in my room very early all 3 of them.

Liam-I’ll leave before they come in

Miley- *looks at him* only one time. *kisses him*

They move into her bedroom

Next morning, Liam leaves before the kids come in to wake Miley up.

Luna- mama wake up. *carries T in the room and lays her in the bed with Miley*

Miley- good morning babies….

Caiden-mommy we want to cuddle.

Miley- every morning you want to cuddle *smiles and kisses their heads* I love you guys.

A few hours later

Evie is at Tish’s house making cookies, Caiden is with Liam and Luna is with a friend.

Demi came over to see Miley and how she was doing with the separation

A/N So guys I know that IN REAL LIFE Demi is sick and in the hospital, but since this is a story, she is Miley’s best friend. Selena will also occasionally come into the story, since Miley and Selena are friends in this story as well but are not super close like Demi and Miley. In this story I will talk about Demi’s addiction and being sick but not for a while.

Anyways

Miley- hey Dem, come on in *opens the door wider for her as she sips her coffee*

Demi- I brought you a green tea smoothie, but I see your still drinking coffee.

Miley-no I will gladly take the smoothie, thank you.

Demi- you are glowing, what aren’t you telling me? You are never this chipper when I come over.

Miley- why can’t I just be happy, I----

Demi- *gives her a look*

Miley- okay!! Liam and I slept together last night, and no were not back together it was a one-time thing.

Demi- oh yeah sure!!

Miley- It was!!

Demi- Mi, you two can never just have a one-time thing. You love each other, and I don’t get why you won’t just get back together.

Miley- because he chea----

Demi- *interrupts her* he didn’t cheat Mi, but it was also 6 months ago. Have you slept together since then?

Miley-yes! We have!!

Demi- one-time thing huh?

Miley- I know but it’s just hard, he’s so sweet and so amazing, and it’s hard to be away from him at night.

Demi- then get back together already and stop sneaking around.

Miley-it’s not that easy though Dem.

Demi- it is when you’re still sleeping with him.

Miley- we still fight though Demi all the time. The other night, he came over, we woke up the next morning and we started arguing because I didn’t wake him up, the kids almost caught us.

Demi- Just get back together. The kids would be happy and so would you guys. Mi, those are not reasons to continue fighting.

Miley-sighs softly- I will try talking to him again.

Demi-yeah! Do that. That’s a good start.

Later on, demi and miley just hung out and demi helped miley clean the house

Liam drops Caiden off

Miley- hey buddy! Did you have fun today with daddy?

Caiden- yes mommy I did. We went to the lake on a boat with daddy’s friend Mia.

Miley-Mia? Who’s Mia.
