Talking eyes

Hope and despair

I came home and started waiting anxiously for the following morning.I was so excited to know about her.I had texted Somi's brother about this recent event.By chance I found her brother online.He told me that they will all reach hospital at 9 sharp.

Next day was Wednesday.I had to off my office off course.So I did it.

I wake up early in the morning next day out of curiosity.I drank a mug of hot black coffee which I used to drink in any depressing moment.I become somehow peaceful.I dressed up and went towards hospital.

There I found her family outside the doctor room.Doctor had just arrived and they were waiting for him.I joined them.Her family didn't mind my presence.They know me as one of the best friend of her.They didn't know anything beyond this.

Finally doctor arrived.We greeted him.He had come here after proper check up of her.He was looking expressionless.I didn't succeed to get to know anything from his face.He had a bunch of different reports in his hands.Finally he laid all on the table,put off his glasses and stared conversation.

"What happened yesterday's night was actually a sign that she has improved a bit.What I can understand from this happening is that she can hear us,can feel us,can think about what's going on.But the sad thing is that she can not respond,she can't express her thoughts in form of words.Still I can not say a word that when she will wake up.May be today,may be tomorrow,may be in aweek,may be in a month,may be in a year,may be in two years and",he paused for a moment and looked on our faces,"May be never".

We were in the way of light and dark at a same time.We had a hope and we didn't had a hope.We were expecting good and we were expecting bad,all at a same time.

Nothing was confirmed.Anything might happen.
