Talking eyes

She went into coma

We were shocked by saying of doctor.He was saying,"We tried our best.Blood had already lost to such extent that we couldn't recover it.She has gone into coma.We can't say anything about it.May be she will wake up in few weeks, months, years and may be never," he paused for a moment and looked at our faces then he continued,"May be she will wake up after certain time period but she would have lost memory.May be she will lost some part of her body.In this way every thing is possible and may not be possible simultaneously.I don't want to make you depressed but as a doctor it is my duty to tell the truth about patient as far as possible.I m sorry."He finished the sentence finally and looked at our faces.

"So what will you do for her now?",I finally managed to say.

"We are transferring patient into the ICU as she is not fully out of danger.She is having difficulty in breathing.We have to put her on oxygen.After some days,when her condition will become stable,we will transfer her in a room."

He told us and went away.

We were looking at each other quietly.We had a lot to say but we were not feeling courageous enough to say even a word of condolence or hope about her.We were not in a state to accept it but inspite of all our wishes it was a bitter truth and we had to accept it anyway.

Life usually takes exam in such a manner.My exams had started.It was a long long way without any single stay.It was such a journey about which I didn't know anything about the destination.
