I sat in Lila’s office, lost in thought as it’s been days since I last heard or saw Daniel after he abruptly left me in his house to go God knew where. I had tried texting and calling but it felt like he fell off the surface of the earth.
He was the one reassuring me that he wasn’t going to treat me like Evan did, he made it seem as if he cared about me but ignored me proving his words were all lies and he was a liar?
His face that night said something else like he was scared or angry, I just couldn’t tell what it was but I felt betrayed for his neglect. He pushed for this and now he fell back?
Did I over share? Did I make myself too vulnerable? I shouldn’t have given in to my lust and emotions, he saw way too much and that scared him away. f**k, how do I rectify this?
