Zeev POV “Cael!”  I yelled, shoving the door open across the hall from the room I was in.  Harlee lay with Cael in her arms, and even from here, I could see it.  He had given it all.  His little body looked feverish, each breath a chore.  “No.”  I mumbled, moving numbly to their sides.  I fell to my knees, pulling Cael into my arms.  He let out a ragged sigh and I shamelessly burst into tears.  I never wanted this.  I never would have asked for this.  Falling was nothing compared to this pain. “Why son?  Why?”  I moaned, holding his small body to my chest.  If I could will any life back into my son at all, I would, but this body was too newly put back together, and there was nothing it could give.  Even as I shoved at the Grace, urging it to move, it wouldn’t go, preservation of self fir
