More fairies started showing up out of the trees and started attacking with their magic, Fairies are elemental creatures and each one can wield an element of their own. Dalton and the demons were holding up against the other fairies, branches from the ground sprouted and tried grabbing at their feet. Being able to fly they kept their feet off the ground but still had to avoid them as they tried to reach out for them.
Other fairies were throwing fire balls, icicles, and rocks at them, while others slashed with the wind and tried blinding them with the light. These were trained demons though, so they had worked hard to avoid and hold up in any type of situation.
