HI, I'M THE AUTHOR of this book, and I hope you liked it. As a former journalist, I wanted a reporter protagonist who could solve problems. Mac came into being, based on my reporting experiences as well as others. This is the second book in this series. You can find the first, Trust No One, at your usual e-publishing site.
This book came as I sought to answer a question people, often liberal women, kept asking me, "Why don't they leave? Why do conservative women stay when they're so confined?"
My answer was, "Why would they leave? Where would they go?"
It was not the answer they wanted to hear. This book was started well before the 2016 election, that demonstrated, among other things, that we do need to understand why women stay. And why some leave. It wasn't an easy book to
