{Noelle’s POV}
It’s been a few weeks since Camille came back, and things have been more than a little awkward. I’ve practically locked myself in my house, hiring a couple of guys to do all of the chores here at the ranch so I don’t accidentally run into Silas, or the others. I wanted so badly to go to him.. to kiss him.. but I couldn’t. I saw Camille and him walking around up at their Ranch, his arm was around her, they were laughing.. they looked perfectly happy with one another.. and I couldn’t ever ask him to leave his wife for me. He’s known her for years.. built a home, and a family with her. He barely knows me.. so I know what I have to do. Locking myself away, and letting them get back to some sort of normal was the best thing I could do for them, I just wish it wasn’t so hard.
