2.They are desserts

Aurelius looked at the 55 young women lying in front of him. He raised his head and took a deep breath of air, and his cold eyes immediately turned blood-red, while his sharp fangs were revealed in an instant.

"Not bad at all. Each one of them smells quite delicious."

"As long as you're satisfied, my lord."

Sam, who was standing next to him with a bow, only straightened up at this moment. A slight smile appeared on her previously expressionless face.

"My lord, most of them are orphans here. Among them are a few daughters of wealthy families in the city. Their taste is especially delicious. Why don't you try them first?"

Sam waved his hand, and the "delicious desserts" he mentioned were instantly suspended in front of Aurelius and arranged in a row.

"My lord, please try them first." Sam was like a real dessert server, respectfully holding one of the women with both hands and handing it to him.

Aurelius smirked, his slender fingers gently brushing over the woman's cheek before his gaze settled on her long neck. The blood-red eyes emitted a bloodthirsty aura that caused the air around them to freeze in an instant.

He reached out and embraced the woman that Sam had offered to him, holding her in his arms.

"Tonight, it is your honor to open this blood feast and become the appetizer of this lord."

After Aurelius finished speaking, he lowered his head and bit into the side of her neck, sucking her blood with force and savoring the first delicious taste.

The unconscious woman did not resist as he drank her blood.

Suddenly, just as he was about to drain her body of blood, the woman abruptly regained consciousness.

As soon as she opened her eyes and saw a strange man drinking her blood, she immediately panicked and struggled.

"No--"

Her screams lasted only a few seconds before falling silent.

Aurelius was satisfied and lifted his head. He gave a cold glance at the woman in his arms and threw her away, as if she were a broken flower thrown into a rose bush.

As the rose bloomed, it suddenly spread outwards as if it were a dense and impenetrable web. It wrapped around the woman's body as it pressed down on her corpse, penetrated her delicate skin, and entered her body. Her body was transformed into a part of the rose and bloomed with it.

Next, the second woman whose blood was drained by Aurelius suddenly regained consciousness as her life was about to end, but it was already too late.

He continued to suck the blood of the third, fourth, and fifth person until the last drop was consumed.

"These women do have a good taste, but it seems there are quite a few mixed breeds among the remaining fifty-five people.
