Layla wakes up to something wet, she opens her eyes to see Amaury sponging her again. She smiles at him and gets up once he was done and kisses him “I’m hungry is the food ready?” Amaury smiles back at her “They are setting the table up now get dressed and meet me down there” he walks out the room leaving a confused Layla behind. Where are the clothes she’s supposed to wear? She gets up and opens the first armoire closes to her and looked at the clothes inside. Taking out a sheer lavender dress, she puts it on as a strapless dress tying it so it can stay up on her body and cover her parts so that everyone couldn’t see them. She walks out of the room and follows the smell of food into the dining room. Amaury was sitting down drinking coffee when he saw her walk in, his face lit up, “You look beautiful” he gets up and kisses her, “Is that new?”. Layla looked at her outfit, “No I just did something different with something old”. He walks her to the table and pulls the chair out for her, “Eat my love I hope you’ll enjoy it”. Layla sat down and picked up the spoon, she chose the bowl with what looks like soup scooping it up and she tasted it. Thinking about the flavors she though it was delicious, and she kept eating Amaury was pleased, and he sat down to eat too. Enjoying each other’s company. After eating good food, they both decided to take a walk in the garden. Layla really enjoyed the scenery all the beautiful flowers, the trees and the area going into the forest she felt at home out there.

One hour had past when they decided to walk back to the castle, Layla stopped walking when she felt this deep sensation pull her in another direction. She looked away from Amaury to see the cutest little boy run up to them in their direction, and he runs to Layla. Amaury takes him out of Layla arms and ask him “Did you have lunch yet Eli?” Eli shakes his head “Grandma is getting the menu ready”. Amaury smiles and say’s “Mommy and I will join you go wash your hands and go to the dining room”. He puts Eli down and Eli runs the bathroom, Amaury looks at Layla and says, “we should have another one of those”. Layla grabs Amaury “Oh yes, I like the sound of that” and she kisses him. They walk into the kitchen and washed their hands, then head to the dining room and sat down. Eli came running around the corner and sat down, Amaury mother comes out the kitchen followed by the cook. He placed five dishes on the table when Eli walks back in and sits next to his grandma. Everything looked yummy to Layla, she didn’t know what to start with first. Amaury looks over at his beautiful wife noticing that she couldn’t decide what to eat, he smiles as he picks up a raspberry tart. “Try this first beautiful” Layla opens her mouth and takes a bite. “That’s delicious!” Layla says while eating the rest out his hand, lunch went great while Layla kept eating and trying new foods. They spent the whole afternoon enjoying each other’s company. While playing in the garden, Amaury’s Beta approached them letting them know it was almost time for the council meeting. Amaury sends his mother and Eli off to their chambers to rest while this meeting went on.

Amaury and Layla sat in the throne room as each representative from other packs came in and a couple of the royal guards to watch over the door from the inside. Amaury bangs his gavel and the meeting proceeded. The Evergreene pack Alpha spoke up, “Sire there has been rumbling about an attack on one of our packs, I just can’t pin down which one and who’s coming to do it.” All the other Alphas looked at him in surprise as to how did he knew that this was going to happen. They looked at Amaury for guidance, “tomorrow all packs need to have a higher security detail not just inside your territory, the surrounding land around it too. You need to focus on your training of your young they are gonna be needed”. As he finished his sentence Layla vision went dark, for everyone else her pupils and irises turned red while the white of her eyes turned black. Layla took a deep breath and she saw what the alpha was talking about, fire was everywhere. Buildings were being set on fire with families still inside some already burning to the grown with bones turning to ashes. Women, men, and children being burned in the streets some being spared to watch as this tragedy takes everything from them. No matter how hard Layla tried she couldn’t bring herself back, she kept seeing this devastation until she saw the castle being set a flame, and everyone here burning alive while Amaury, Eli and her throats was cut. As soon as her throat was cut Layla vision turned back to normal. The first thing she saw was Amaury on his knees in front of her, “Are you ok my love?, what did you see?”. Layla with tears streaming down her face, she weakly answered, “He’s right. There will be an attack, on all the packs including us, they’ll kill us even our precious boy”, she falls forward and Amaury catches her. The Alpha from Grey Stone pack spoke up doubtful, “Excuse my language sire, but she is a witch she may be a part of this so-called attack! How is this human your mate?”. Amaury faced this wolf with quickness and growled. His aura thick and ominous “Never disrespect my woman again, she may look like a witch, but she is a powerful Goddess. She is here to help us get stronger and she is fit to be Queen! Send your women and young away, now get out! This meeting is over!!”, he screamed and walked out the conference room carrying Layla bridal style.
