Part One: Quick Dinner and Business

Since they did not have time to make it to the pack house, they decided to stop by Ethan’s Apartment in the city to change, Kalmin was already showered so he just needed to eat and get dressed. While Ethan took a shower Kalmin took out the Boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, bell peppers, an onion, two jalapeño peppers and a tomato that the maid left in the fridge for a late-night dinner. Cutting the chicken into bite-sized pieces, he turned the stove on low and put the skillet on the front idle, while that was heating up he seasoned the chicken with salt and pepper with a little bit of garlic powder, adding one tablespoon olive oil and one and half tablespoon of chili powder he turns up the heat to medium/high and adds the chicken in the pan, while he lets the chicken cook a bit, he chops one cup worth of the bell pepper and one half worth of onion, he was like a professional chef moving quickly and with ease, Athena cooking lessons had come in handy while he was with Ethan they wouldn’t be eating takeout all the time.

Walking back to the stove and begins to sauté the chicken until it was no longer pink, removing the chicken from the skillet he puts it in a warmer and he pours the chili powder in a little bowl, and adds the chopped bell pepper and onion into the hot skillet, while that cooked he seeded and mince the jalapeño peppers and cut the tomato in chunks. He noticed that the peppers and onions were soft so he added the jalapeño pepper, the tomatoes and the remaining chili powder in the skillet, instead only making it spicy he added a five drops of hot pepper sauce and a ten drops of honey while that cooked he stirred the pan for four minutes and then added the chicken back in and let the that cooked two more minutes he removed the skillet from the hot idle and let that cool while it did he poured two glasses of whiskey and coke on the rocks, Kalmin took out two plates and emptied the skillet he sat Ethan’s plate on the island bar and he sat at the table with his plate and ate. Ethan comes down the hall dressed in blue jeans, a white T-shirt that ripples nicely over his muscles, with a black vest and white low top Jordan’s, he walks to the Island bar and takes a big gulp of his drink leaving at least three sips left, he picks up a fork and begins eating his dinner, he looks over at Kalmin who was on his last bite “thanks man, I guess those lessons with thena is going great”. Kalmin drinks his alcohol down and answers “Yea man fantastic when I get the recipe right and it taste good, I get rewarded”. He smiles as he remembers what happened two nights ago between him and his woman. He had to think of something else because his d**k was beginning to get hard.

He got up and put his plate in the sink, poured himself three fingers of whiskey and went into the guest bedroom to get ready himself. Kalmin washed his hands and face, brushed his teeth and got dressed in a dark blue polo shirt dark blue jeans and black high top Nikes shoes. He walks out the room as Ethan was putting his dishes in the sink. Ethan walks to the counter, picks up his phone and calls the driver to pull around they are coming down. Kalmin pulls his brush out of his pocket in front of the mirror by the door and brushes his hair, Ethan comes back down the hallway after just brushing his teeth. Both of them started laughing as they said together, “we clean-up niiice.” They fist bumped and walked out the door and headed to the parking garage. The driver had the door open on both sides for them, Ethan gets in and the driver closes the door, as he begins to walk to the other side Kalmin already closes his door, so the driver gets in himself and pulls out the parking space “Where to sire?.” Ethan looks up from his phone and says, “The warehouse club.” On the way there Ethan calls the manager of the club to let him know he was on his way, and he wanted to check out the club while Kalmin was texting Athena.

They get to the club at seven-fifteen, the manager comes outside and greets them and introduces himself as Brian Angels shaking both of their hands, he walks them in the club and into his office. Amaury could tell this man was not human, Ethan was a little curious too so he asks, “What are you, we can smell that you are not human?” Brian looked shocked and takes a step back, Kalmin speaks up. “Were not here to hurt you this is a business deal, and we came to check out the location.” Brian shakes his head and answers calmly. “I’m a siren, this club was started by me and my brother. but he wanted to become a singer, so I run it by myself while he does what he wants. What are you?” Ethan and Kalmin looked at each other cheekily. They began releasing their aura enough to only fill the room, so the siren could understand who he was in the presence of. Brian gasps and bows his head. “Your highness, what an honor.” Ethan looks at him and says, “sit Mr. Angels, why are you looking for partners?,” He answers, “My brother contacted your company because he though I couldn’t do this alone, maybe he was right everything is going downhill.” Brian takes a deep breath and continues, “With the sighting of more Vampires in this building.” He huffs out, “The undead and I don’t have a contract for this spot to be their feeding grounds.” Brian speaks lowly as he looks down at the floor, “There are too many missing people that were last seen at my club. Pretty soon the human police will shut me down.” Looking back up at Ethan, “My brother never told me he reached out to Silver Moon Royalty. Damn that Brandon”. Ethan shakes his head and speaks up “Don’t worry you are not in any trouble, once we take over Vampires will need permission to step foot in here, I hope you don’t mind me saying your input would not matter on the business end of it all, but the music, you will have a say in that matter” Brain looks disappointed but agrees “Yes sire I really appreciate you saving m. I mean this building” Ethan pulls out his phone “now that we got to talk before the meeting, Will your brother be there?” Brian looks over at Kalmin as Kalmin walks to the window in the office and looks down. Brian answers Ethan question, “He’s supposed to be, he’s coming back from LA Sunday.” Kalmin mind links Ethan letting him know there’s a group of five Vampires that just entered the club, Ethan looks his way and speaks Loudly “Keep watch, were almost done here”, he looks back at Brian. “That contract we had, is now void. I’ll have my secretary work up a new one, also if I need your brother to perform here, or at any other event he needs to be here. I will endorse him. This should not in whatsoever put a hold on his career, as for you, you will be receiving a check for bringing in talent and hiring a whole new staff unless the humans you have downstairs can cut it, then they can stay. We’ll be building on extra space and rebranding this building those missing people will lose their connection to this place, you’ll get a new office, you don’t have to leave but your name will be off this building.” Ethan stands up and extends his hand towards Brian, whose eyes looked grateful, and he smiled while excepting Ethan’s hand. Ethan pats his back and turns to walk to the window and mind link Kalmin to call Gus and Dre. “Tell them to hurry and get the Vampires out.” Speaking aloud Ethan looks back at Brian. “Mr. Angel we will start now with the extraction.” Kalmin calls Dre and tells him to get Gus and hurry.

As he opened the door Ethan smells the most delicious scent he has ever smelled in his life, it was faint, but it was there. He walks back to the window and looks around no one was looking up at him, but he kept smelling it. Amaury started pacing as it got stronger, Ethan walked to the stairs. It smelled like warm honey and almond butter, Amaury begins to get impatient, as he stops at the bottom of the stairs. Chris brown Take you down begins to play, he sees the most beautiful woman at the bar. “MATE” Amaury growls out. She looks like an African Goddess; he saw her take a shot and down a sixteen-ounce bottle of water. Ethan gulps as his d**k twitches in his pants. She buys another shot and takes it to the head, he watched her grab her friend and run to the dance floor. Then the DJ says he is gonna take a break, he watched her from a distant. He thinks to himself she is a human, so he had to find a way to make her his. “Don’t you agree Amaury that our mate is beautiful, and we have to have her.” Amaury agrees, as the clouds move from the moon. He sees his mate glow and it was like he was in a trance as she danced to Busy Signal Wine Pon Di edge. Ethan begins to move slowly towards her, but stopped when someone else approaches her, he immediately snapped out of his trance. A low growl left his throat “Mine”, He stopped himself from running up to the man and ripping his head off when his alarm on his phone went off. He noticed his mate looked distressed just a second, and he watched her walk to the back as if she were in a trance. Ethan concentrated his nose on the person walking with her and noticed he too was a vampire, he walked slowly to the side they were, making sure the blood sucker could not feel his malice as he heard her scream. He releases his aura bringing his fist down hard on top of the vampire head breaking his neck. He knew this would not kill him, but at least stop him for a several minutes. Staring at her intently he asks, “Are you alright?” She opens her eyes and looks up at him. He could hear her heart beat hard and fast. He watches her beautiful mouth as she says “Yes.” That three-letter word almost made him melt and forget that he had to go, as the moon moved from behind the clouds the aura surrounding her made him want to grab her. He looks into her deep brown eyes as she moves closer to him and kisses him.
