Marie has been my best friend since I was in diapers so I've known her a very long time also meaning I've known her brother, Cole, all that time too.

"You! Don't even speak to me! I told you how many times to stay away from her yet you couldn't ducking listen!" She yells at the top of her lungs 

"I f*****g love her Marie! You can't blame me for having feelings for her! You can't choose who I get to be with! We're both adults we make our own f*****g decisions Marie!" Cole seethes 

I wrap my arms around his arm and look up into his beautiful blue eyes and smile softly which makes his eyes soften as he sends me a small smile.

"I can't believe you f*****g betrayed me Jade! I never would have expected you would stoop so low to f**k my own brother! You've been my best friend since I was born how could you seriously do this to me!?" She screamed at me making my heart clench in pain 

"I never meant to hurt you or to go behind your back Marie but I can't help who I fall for I've never once told you who you should and shouldn't date so why should you do that to me?" I frown 

"His my f*****g brother!! It's different Jade! I trusted you and that was the biggest mistake I ever f*****g made!" Marie yelled 

"Seriously Marie! Are you going to throw your friendship with her down the drain just because we're together? What is so wrong with us being together!? It doesn't change the way she sees you or your friendship so I don't get why you're being such so f*****g selfish!" Come growls 

"She's the one that threw our relationship down the drain when she wanted to spread her f*****g legs for you dear brother so don't go putting this on f*****g me!! f**k you and f**k her!" She spat at us 

My lip wobbled and tears ran down my face as I finally realised I had lost my best friend which I know I was to blame for but it didn't make it hurt much less.

"Don't cry princess" Cole soothed as he wrapped me in his arms 

The word I had once use to hate now brings me so much comfort the man that use to annoy me so much now brings me endless comfort.

He wiped my tears away before placing a soft kiss to my forehead and rubbing my back softly I turned slightly to see Marie looking even angrier than before as she watched us together.

She stomps her foot and her face turns red before she glares at the both of us and walks towards the door slamming it as she leaves not before muttering something under her breath that I seriously had to misunderstand.

I could of sworn I heard her whisper along the lines of "and to think I thought you were the one" just before she slammed Cole's bedroom door
