Mouse practically bounced out of the office. She felt like she was floating on air. She noticed that Nita was having coffee with Declan and didn't want to bother them. She walked behind Declan and waved a little wave and gave a little thumbs up to let him know she got the job. He nodded and then went back to his conversation. She then found Darci in the decorating section of the store. "Darci, I got the job!" Darci did her best to act surprised. "Great job, kiddo! Do you want to hang around the store a bit, or do you want to go home?" Mouse smiled, "Home, I never thought I would be able to say that. I think I'd like to go home now." Darci put the book back down. "We'll wait until you start getting a discount. Let's go home."
"Sounds good. Can we celebrate with Chinese? I love fried rice."
