The next few hours Angel could only describe as euphoric. She felt alive, her eyes seeing color in its proper form, and the smells were more intense. The scent of the lavender tea that Rose brewed made her feel as if she were standing in the middle of a lavender field. The coffee she drank was dark and rich. It smelled more heavenly than when she was human. She could hear a pin drop on a shag carpet now. She could pinpoint each pet's location within the house if she concentrated hard enough.
