Mufti Ahmed's words reverberated in Ahad's mind as he kept walking to his room. Was he strong enough to do this? He looked around to see everything that gave him peace… that made him happy. That fuelled his pride… all this expensive stuff. From the carpet to the dressing table, everything was rare, branded and custom-made. He spent a fortune building them. How could he let it go?
He shook his head to get rid of those thoughts. His head ached a little because of overthinking. His head injuries hadn't healed completely yet.
'Why would Mufti Ahmed think so? Why can't I go further with the burden of these things? They are not a burden anyways.
