—Ahad's Mansion—
Umeed walked inside her room and closed the door. She picked up the landline and dialled the number of her village. She desperately wanted to talk to her mother now. She wanted to go back to the comfort of her home. She had suffered for too long. She could not stay here anymore with Ahad. Every moment with him was a torment.
After 10 minutes of waiting impatiently, her mother finally came to the phone and she said, "Umeed?"
Umeed closed her eyes in pain. She was afraid She would cry. "Ammi? How are you?" She asked.
"I am fine my dear. Tell me about you. Is there any good news?"
Umeed's wounds were scathed at that sentence and she felt more hatred in her heart for Abdul Ahad. "Ammi I… want to come back."
"Is Jamai Ji (Son-in-law) coming with you too?" Her mother ask
