I didn’t care what excuses he was giving, I only knew I wanted something and only he can give it to me. I had no idea I’d get drunk from a few glasses at my sister’s place. It was my guilty pleasure, to drink before family gatherings.
The end of fall seemed only like the beginning. This year ain’t right, Everything about it isn’t like the previous years. Before this year, I was a law-abiding citizen who obeyed her mother and have never seen someone shot. I had been shielded all my life but on that trip, I was introduced to a whole new world. I had been kidn*pped twice, lied about being a serial killer, and argued with my mom. You see what I said; this year ain’t right, but it is the most liberating year of my life.
