"Do you guys need a ride?"
I was surprised to see Rosa Santiago offer help to someone. She rarely even helps herself! But I guess sometimes, break-ups bring out the best in people. I was glad that she was starting to become a better person.
Although her offer was tempting, I just couldn't bear to see my car abandoned here. I should get her fixed up nicely. "Thanks for the offer, Rosa, But I need to fix it up."
"Oh, that's fine." A look of disappointment washed over her face. "Well in that case, I'll have my mechanic come check out your car, he runs the only mechanic shop in town. We can have your car towed to his shop ASAP."
