I was appalled by Francisco's kiss, and the way his saliva covered my upper lip, but before I could react, someone hauled him off of me. I looked up and saw Javier gripping Francisco's collar. "Javier, wait-" I tried to stop him.
"Shut up!" He cut me short with a level of anger I never knew he had. "Go wait in my car...now, Lula!"
I walked away from the two brothers who were at each other's throats. but instead of going to Javier's car as he commanded, I stopped at the gallery's exit. Javier and Francisco argued with each other, but I could not hear what they were saying from where I was standing. But the next thing Javier did was clear as crystal... He landed a punch on his brother's face and Francisco's nose started bleeding heavily.
