The moment Rosa's call entered Javier's phone, I lost every bit of cool I had when I asked him why she would be calling him.
Javier looked at me with confusion... "I—I have no idea". Just the thought of him communicating with Rosa irked me, but I wasn't going to let her get to me...not tonight.
I swiped to the green icon to answer the call, then, I pressed the phone against my ear. "Hello, Rosa"
There was a brief pause on the other side before I heard Rosa's voice. "Lula Lula, the b***h who is trying to steal my boyfriend."
I rolled my eyes even though I knew she couldn't see me. "Oh please, get over yourself, Rosa. You lost Javier before I met you both, and now you're looking for whom to blame for your foolishness."
