It's been four days since I almost died. Four days of mind-blowing revelations about my past and the plots against me. Four days of bliss with Dameon.
I feel different now. I’m more confident and strong, and I haven’t had a panic attack since the looming questions about my past were answered. But with demon blood in my veins I also feel a lurking darkness inside. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad Dameon didn’t let my father sacrifice himself, and that Asmodeus is dead... but I’m not sure how I feel about being so connected to evil now.
Dameon is different now too, obviously. Very different. Adjusting to his new body has been… interesting. Granted, the angel he possessed is incredibly fun to look at, but it wasn’t easy for me to just forget about the body I fell in love with.
