Seraphina The only pain worse than letting her go is knowing that she doesn’t want to see me. My heart is breaking into a thousand pieces when Dameon places a soothing hand on my shoulder. “Perhaps it would help if you put down the weapon?” He suggests. I snort through the tears “And the armor too,” he teases. So I raise my sword in the air, allowing the smoke to encircle me and take the imposing golden armor with it. I’m left in my soft, flowing white robes. Dameon does little to hide the fact that he is scanning the curves of my body. His gaze sends tingles all over my skin. I still can’t figure out whether I like that or not.
