THE EYES OF HEAVEN: “QUIET!” Booms Gabriel’s voice over the cacophony of angels speaking in urgent whispers. His white wings unfold in a gust of frustration, stretching overhead. He’s an enormous being, towering over the rest of the angels in the room. When he shouts, a hush falls over the rest of the angels. A cluster of smaller angels is watching from a safe distance while the four larger archangels stand around an altar made of gold. Their ivory brows are all furrowed, etched with worry like giant tragic Greek statues.
