SERAPHINA: My eyes are telling me that Professor Frost is holding up the giant angel, but I know in my gut that the creature before me isn’t really him. His smile makes something deep within me want to hurl. We watch in horror as he squeezes the neck of my guardian. A loud crack rings through the air, and the angel falls lifeless to the ground.  “NO!” I shout involuntarily, but my scream only seems to delight the horrible man. The angel is engulfed in blue flames, and a flash of light blinds me. When it clears, Cass’ body has vanished. The thing that looks like Professor Frost peers back in our direction, and his wicked mouth forms only one word. “Tonight.” He snaps his fingers, and is instantly surrounded by a storm of smoke and flame.
