"Sorry, I'd prefer a sprite instead," I correct, looking back at the waitress.
"Alright, coming right up," the waitress speaks, as we mutter a thank you.
"But honestly, now, things are now so complicated. Having those responsibilities and expectations," I continue our conversation.
