Hits are always expected but it didn’t happen as often as one would think. A mistake many have paid for. A mistake our family paid for.

Just as those words were said, a car at high speed crashes into ours and I’m thrown against my seat, the seatbelt saving me from the impact. Instinctively, Teo’s hand protectively shoots out in front me.
My ears ring as chaos ensues. Teo is shouting orders to the driver who was bleeding from his head. He was in complete commando mode with his sharp eyes darting everywhere, his other hand on his gun holster that he had on the side of his chest.
