I pick up my phone when I see it is Maddie, it has been a couple of days since I've heard from her, but I am quite sure I know why she is calling, having talked to Bren. "Hi Cookie, nice to hear Your voice".
"Hi Colin Your charming bastard". I can hear the sadness in her voice, even if she tries to banter with me. "So Bren has called you right ?"
"Yeah, it’s so terrible, poor Dahlia. I mean Bren is broken. I wish I could be there, but I am very much stuck here in Indonesia filming for now". I say scratching my neck.
She sighs softly. "Yeah poor Dahlia and poor Bren, he sounded so sad. I wish I could go too, but this short term contract might lead to a job I would really love to get. And Dahlia doesn't remember me anyways".
