There is a knock on the door and I turn my head to see Maddie walk in with a big smile on her face. I quickly get up and go to hug her, not caring if I mess up the hair or wrinkle the dress. "Oh I'm so happy you are here, I missed you".
"I'm happy to be here too and I wouldn't miss your wedding for anything, well second wedding, but I still wouldn't miss it. I'm sorry I couldn't get here before today". She says, hugging me back.
"It's okay, Colin isn't arriving before today either". I watch a smile spread on her face as I mention his name. "But I guess you know, you two have been keeping in touch haven't you ?"
She bites her lip, actually blushing slightly. "Yeah we have been talking and texting, you know… nothing special… just keeping in touch".
I just smile not really
