I am curled up on the couch, my head resting in Colin's lap, as his fingers slowly play with my hair. Bren is once again up to check on Dahlia. "It's so sweet how caring and loving he is with her".
"Yeah, he loves her deeply". Colin says, twirling a lock of my hair around his finger. "If you were sick I would care for you too".
"I have no doubt Mr perfect gentleman". I say looking up at him. Of course he would care for me, just as I would him.
Bren comes back down, throwing himself into the big armchair. I lift my head. "Is she feeling any better ?"
He shakes his head, actually looking upset. "Nope, but at least she is sleeping now. I am worried for her, Morning sickness shouldn't be all day, should it ?"
