I call Colin in the car on the way to the hotel where we are going to have the party. I just need to hear his voice for a bit. He picks up quickly. "Hi cookie. How is your day going ?"
"Hi boo. It's going fine, but I miss you". It's so nice hearing his voice. "How are your day going so far ?"
He chuckles softly. "Oh pretty good, I won in bowling...".
He is cut off by Tom Wickland, leaning in close to the phone. "But I kicked his ass in the gocarts and in the dance off".
"Tell junior he did good, and please make sure he doesn't get drunk, Colin. He is just a kid". I say.
Colin chuckles again. "Actually he isn't, cookie, you mother him too much. But I promise to make sure nothing happens to him".
