"I still can't believe she is here". I say watching Stella sleep in Bren's arms. We have already made video calls to all of my family and all of his, letting them know she has arrived safely.
"Me neither. I knew it would change everything, but this.. I was not prepared for this kind of feelings". He looks at me with tears in his eyes.
I send him a warm smile. "Oh I know, it's wonderful and very scary, right ?"
"Yeah, all the things I can do wrong keep flashing before my eyes". He says, looking at her with the most loving smile. "But I will do anything to protect her".
