I twirl in front of the mirror admiring my new red off the shoulder dress. It's a bit fifties inspired and playful. I hope Colin will really love it. It has been four weeks since we returned from our honeymoon and he is picking me up for a date in a minute.
He has been in LA for ten days, doing some talk shows, interviews and meetings, and he called me yesterday and told me to be ready for a romantic date. That he has something to tell me.
What he doesn't know is that I have something to tell him too.
I walk downstairs to find Vera with Anele on her arm. She smiles at me. "See Mwala, isn't mom looking beautiful".
"Mommy, very beautiful". She says as I twirl at the bottom of the stairs. "A real princess".
