The door is opened and I slide out to the hustle, bustle and sound of the red carpet, holding out my hand to help Dahlia out. She looks absolutely radiant and I feel she looks more like a star than I will ever do, which doesn't bother me the slightest.
"This is amazing Bren". She looks around, beaming with happiness.
"You are amazing darling, all eyes will be on you". I tell her softly. "I know mine definitely will be". I lean in closer, whispering in her ear, even if it is not necessary. "And later my hands".
