“Match start in 3…2…1.”

After the signal for the start of the match is announced, Aqua Lady immediately sends out water balls to attack Kieran. Kieran didn’t retaliate by launching an attack in a similar manner, but he decided to go on the defensive first.

Kieran moves his body left and right to dodge the water ball, and he is doing it with ease. Aqua Lady also didn't panic when he dodged her attack as this is something that she has predicted and prepared another follow-up attack.

Two streams of water cannon are moving with power, and yet Kieran still hasn’t retaliated. While dodging the attack, Kieran showed calmness and composure as if he is enjoying all of this. This continued for quite a while as Aqua Lady unleashes all of her attacking skill one after another, although not even one hit Kieran.

Max, who analyses the situation, can feel that Kieran also seemed to be trained in special martial arts as he dodges the attack without a sweat. The battle is in his control as Aqua Lady’s tempo has completely being directed by him.

After a while, Aqua Lady seemed to be tired as she has expended her energy while Kieran dodges her attack without using any ability at all.

“Have you finished? It’s my turn then.”

Kieran asked in a gentlemanly manner. Kieran then looked at Aqua Lady and opened his mouth. Although Max and the rest of the audience watching couldn’t hear anything, the Aqua Lady seemed surprised as her body was blown backwards.

Max could see that Aqua Lady’s stomach area caved in as if she is hit by something before she is thrown like that. Aqua Lady’s body then hit the barrier at the edge of the arena and fall down to the ground. In this competition, a barrier is erected around the stadium to prevent the audience from getting hurt by a stray skill unleashed by the heroes. Because of that, the concept of ring out doesn’t apply to the matches.

Aqua Lady is letting out small cries of pain as she holds her stomach with both hands. The referees also think that they should conclude the match as if it continues, it won’t look good for both parties. Aqua Lady will be feeling humiliated as she is defeated one-handedly, and Kieran’s image will turn bad as he is bullying a woman.

“Thirteenth match, Howling Lion versus Aqua Lady. Howling Lion wins.”

It can be said that Kieran only used his power once to attack the opponent in this match. Max couldn’t even discover what kind of attack he has or how to prepare a countermeasure against it. Max is more nervous since if he continues winning, he will face Elica Rosebud in the top 4 matches to decide the final spot and Kieran in the top 8. However, there’s still a top 16 and top 32 round. His opponent for the top 16 will be decided on the next match, as after that, he will be battling Linda on the top 32’s competition.

Of course, even if he keeps on winning, Giovanni would most likely be waiting for him in the final round. Max feel a headache as it seemed that all the strong opponents are on his way to becoming the winner of this competition.

Just when he thinks that he forgets something, the fourteenth match to decide Kieran’s opponent for the next round has finished.

“Fifteenth match, Flamefist Iki versus Rocky Road.”

This time, Max’s eyes are focused on the arena without blinking. The reason for that is because the winner of this match will be his opponent in the next round after defeating Linda. He, however, doesn’t want to count the chicken before it hatches. He didn’t want to look down on Linda and think that he will win for sure.

Entering the arena, Iki has a wild and masculine charm on him that could make ladies fall for him. Not to mention his battle suit in red is very eye-catching and increases his overall looks.

Iki’s opponent for this match is a muscular bald man. His body is twice as big as Iki’s, and he is topless. He only wears black shorts that don’t have any decorations or flashy design. His muscular body, however, could make women with special preferences adores and support him too.

“Match start in 3…2…1.”

When the match started, Iki and Rocky both move forward. It seemed that this would be a fistfight as both of them use the close-range battle style. As they run forward, Iki summoned the fire to cover his fist and wearing fire gloves as his weapon. On the other hand, Rocky has his hand covered in gravel and rocks as it gathered from the ground as he moves. By the time they are five-meter apart from each other, Rocky already have a large, round and stony boulder connected to his fists.

The audience cheered again as they are going to watch the battle.

Iki launches the attack first by launching his right fist that Rocky dodges as he swayed to the side. Rocky then retaliates by swinging his hand down, as if it was a hammer with his stoned hand as the head.

*bam*

Iki could evade the attack by hopping backwards, and he can see clouds of dust comes up from the ground because of the attack as the arena’s flooring cracked.

This time, male watchers yelled out loud. Unlike earlier fights, this one is more hot-headed and full of promise that it will be filled with action.

Knowing that his attack miss, Rocky is attacking with his other arm that once again missed the target. After getting out of the second attack’s range, Iki spins his body as his foot is covered in fire and unleashes a somersault kick.

Rocky’s attack is stronger, but his speed is way slower than Iki. He wanted to move back and avoid the kick. However, his hammer-like hand is still stuck on the ground. He can only turn his head to prevent the kick from hitting his head, and it landed on his arm instead.

“Gah!”

Along with Rocky’s scream, Iki landed on the ground and launched another punch. Although he just suffered a hit earlier, Rocky didn’t lose his judgement and lifted his other hand to block the attack. He is using the large boulder as a shield.
