Kalina X Alexandra II

It didn’t take too long for Alexandra’s helicopter to arrived nearby the abandoned church.

“Do you want to land nearby or directly above it?”

Kalina then looked at Alexandra as if she is even crazier than herself.

“Nearby.”

Hearing her answer, Alexandra chuckled as she knows that it was a stupid question. Before her helicopter managed to land, something unexpected happened. Or rather, it was something expected as the helicopter is attacked.

Kalina and Alexandra are shaken inside the helicopter due to the force of the impact. The helicopter, however, seemed to hold out as it wasn’t destroyed directly by the attack.

“Darn it! They don’t even know how expensive this thing is! I’ll make them pay for it if there’s even a dent on it.”

Because of the attack from earlier, Kalina and Alexandra know that the enemy has detected them, and a battle is inevitable.

“Marcheline, land the helicopter nearby after dodging their attacks. I believe it won’t be their last attempt.”

“Roger that.”

Marcheline answered the expectation as she moved the helicopter to dodge another attack and landed on an open space. When the helicopter's door finally opened, Alexandra and Kalina get out as fast as they can, and the helicopter sets off to make sure that it won’t suffer more damage.

The helicopter itself is reinforced using special materials, but it doesn’t mean that it was indestructible. As soon as they landed on the ground, the attack that is directed towards the helicopter earlier is now aimed at them.

“Leave it to me.”

Alexandra moves forward, and with a stomp of her feet, a big piece of the ground is raised from the ground like a flipped tile. The earthen shield was made purely by brute force and wasn’t because Alexandra could control earth elements. It wasn’t reinforced using energy like an earth-elementalist’s shield, but it was sufficient to defend from the attack.

The attack that hit them right now is a fire lance. It pierces the makeshift earth shield but missed Kalina and Alexandra. While Alexandra is blocking the enemy’s attack, Kalina didn’t stand still and do nothing.

With one hand touching the ground, countless green vine starts to appear and enveloped Kalina’s hand. Immediately, Kalina’s point of view is enlarged by several times. If earlier she can only see what is showing up in front of her, right now, she can see the surroundings as if she is viewing it from the sky.

She immediately found the attacker not far from the area. The attacker is a middle-aged man with fire ability. He doesn’t stay inside the abandoned church but acting as a lookout, and it seemed that his allies are alerted as she could also see some movements of people inside the church.

“Alexandra, their backup is coming. I’ll take care of the one ambushing us, and you tried to prevent them from coming out from the church.”

Alexandra immediately understands what Kalina tried to do. After all, if the enemy exceeding them in numbers, fighting them in an open space is the same as suicide. The enemy will be able to take advantage of their numbers and surround them. If the enemy stayed inside the abandoned church, at least the space where they could maneuver will be limited.

Not to mention in a limited space, the enemy that they will face will be limited. In a narrow area where only one person could move through, meaning they will only face one enemy at the same time. If they are surrounded, the danger of facing the enemy from all sides increased.

Hearing Kalina’s suggestion, Alexandra didn’t dally and immediately executed the tactics. As for the man that ambushed them earlier, he is about to launch another fire spear attack before green vines shoot out from the ground and strangled the man. In no time, the man passed out and fallen unconscious.

Alexandra, on the other hand, stomped the ground once more and created another earth tile. This time, she grabbed the earth tile with ease, and with a heave-ho, she throws it towards the church entrance.

Some of the evil mastermind members who were about to go out from the church’s door were surprised when they saw the incoming projectile. Although they are surprised, they aren’t docile creatures and used to battle. They immediately used their abilities to protect their body while some launched an attack towards the earth tile.

They sneered at the attack that wasn’t more than a child’s play according to their standard. However, they never prepared for what’s coming next. Among the rubbles from the crumbling earth tile, a small yet seemingly gigantic fist shows up. The wind pressure brought by that tiny fist managed to clear the debris and send it forward like bullets.

While the smaller projectiles did nothing but bounced off from the bodies of the evil mastermind members, the tiny fist arrived at the first villain that was about to step out from the church. He tried to block it, but the strength of an S-ranked hero isn’t something to scoff at.

In the next second, just like a cannon shoots its cannonball, the body of the evil mastermind member flew across the church and brought the people behind him along. Without waiting to be invited in, Alexandra makes her way inside the church.

Kalina also followed up with tree roots coming out from the ground and tied up the evil mastermind member that has just been defeated by Alexandra. Although it was only one hit, the force behind it is sufficient to break all the bones of the first evil mastermind members that bear the brunt of the punch. The member brought along by his body suffered enough damage that sent a shock to their brain for a while.

This is why Kalina could easily tie them up in one whole swoop. However, they have just taken out only six of more than twenty opponents. There are still a lot of opponents to take care of.
