to be an actor

"That really sounds deep. Thank you for taking care of me." Divya replied with a soft smile on her face, an exhausted one though. I couldn't reply when Tanisha, our another co–star, who plays my sister in the movie appeared and tapped on the table between me and Divya. "Do you want to bet on when will today's pack up be?" "What are we betting on?" I asked, this is an old ritual of mine, when being on sets, to place small bets on random things and today the offer came from front so there is no back footing. "Buying coffee to the crew and cast." Divya offered. She better concentrate on her emotions and not get excited. "Sounds boring. How about a trip to Jakhoo hill and brewing coffee there? And share the video in our group." I suggested, which immediately brightened Tanisha's face. "I'm in. Five O'clock." That's too late on an enormous level. This scene concludes my schedule for today, which means there is only two shots left; one where Tanisha and Divya fight and another set of close ups' for Divya, two hours will be enough. "3 O'clock." I chipped in and we turned to Divya, "Around 4." She said with a grim face. "Okay. I will ask Rakesh and Fateh also. They will be in the scene later, and the farthest one from the pack up time will lose." Tanisha left pulling Divya along and without taking a nod from me; she was one hyperactive girl around, being the vitamin on the set. "I have my pack up after this scene." I said excitedly to no one in particular when a dark figure blocked my view and a pair of hands squeezed my cheeks and jaw. "Oh My God! Have you been crying? Who did this to you?" I removed her hands from my face and stood up. "Why are you here Isobel?" I asked my sister, making her sit in the chair I was previously in. "Your set was on my way. But why are you crying?" "Don't be dramatic Bel. You shouldn't be roaming around so freely in this state." I said referring to her seven months pregnant belly. "Don't even get me started. Teddy is so busy to even have a bath." She complained about her husband’s absent from her pregnancy life; he was on a very important business in Taiwan for being recognized as one of the youngest chefs to achieve something I didn't remember. "When was your appointment?" I kept regular update being the angel I was but it will never hurt anyone if queried again. "Last week, when Gabby came. He wanted to see the baby." She said fondly; she must have been happy after meeting Gabriel after so much time, he rarely has time to pay a visit. It's always me who makes time and is now likely going to hold a two-country citizenship for spending too much time in Nicoman State too. It's sometimes fun to live a life of the King's small brother, but goodness the politics is a blood bath and Tiara Raikar is a headache, always manipulative and terrified of losing something which is already my brother's. "That's good." I replied. "He opened a lifetime insurance for the unborn child. I don't even know how. His future planning is so . . distinctive." I laughed remembering how Gabriel once ate no ice cream for one month before the month of August to prevent anything from catching him a cold because if he caught a flu his athletes will all be in similar condition as he couldn't live without taunting and tattling them for one day, also. "I heard it's an unrequited scene you are doing. Don't go hard on yourself. You still have a chance with Vhrea, now." My eyes blinked in horrified shock, why did Isobel need to remember and bring up my first love here. "I recently broke up with Sharia. It won't look ethical if I start courting my first love." "That's been an old story. Five months old already and she is already dating a footballer!" Of course, my sister was that kind of person who would keep a tab on everyone involving her own self, which involved literally everyone. "I have work to do with Vhrea. I don't want to complicate things. We have to shoot for a magazine." "That's just an excuse! Attraction with that one person out of all the crores of people in this world is something magical and if you don't try it, you are either a cow or a red saint." I sighed knowing she had a point. And I really liked spending my time with Vhrea, the way she smiles at little appreciable things and the spirit of survival in her makes me want to have her. "Rolling in five minutes." The director announced in his mic. I hope we get an okay this time, I can't hold this for much time more. The crew started shuffling endlessly around the set arranging various details and giving last minute camera angle check-ups. I hope Divya is ready now. I just hope this day ends quickly and I get to rest on my bed, all night. No, I still have two more advertisement shoots in the night and my body already feels like dying! "Gabriel was talking about marrying someone from our known circle, here in Shimla. He didn't give a name though." Isobel said and my tardiness flew to Russia; I was suddenly so alive. Is that his plan all along? To marry Vhrea, who will give him power. But, what kind of power does she hold except for her company, or being the heiress to Ashrick Jewellers? I don’t see how can she help him continue his power legacy on the councillors. Unless, he is using Vhrea for an image trick to destroy something on the behind scenes. What could that be?
